Cats & Kittens Available as Pets
(Last Updated Nov-24-2014)
We are located in Southern California.
NEW SHIPPING NOTICE: No kitten/cats made available specifically as a companion pet can be shipped after November 18, 2013. Per USDA requirements going into effect on that date, most animals intended as pets must be seen by the buyer in person prior to final sale. Because of this change, pet buyers must pick up their pet kitten/cat in person, either from my home or from a cat show I'm attending.
Kittens/cats made available for showing and/or breeding can be found on the Available Breeder/Show page. The kittens/cats listed on the Available Companions page you're currently viewing, include not only kittens and cats available as pets who do not meet the CFA Show Standard for show, but also ones that might be showable in the CFA Premiership Class. Those cats/kittens listed on both this page and the Available Breeder/Show page are available as Premiership show prospects or as breeding/show prospects for those serious about breeding and showing.
Purfurvid cattery reserves the right to refuse
sale without explanation.
Companion kittens/cats are considered reserved only after a deposit of $80 is received. Deposits are non-refundable unless seller refuses sale, or buyer does not want the companion kitten/cat at the time of seeing it in person at final sale. Deposits can be made through Paypal or by check if coming to see a kitten that's too young to leave. The remaining balance, either by cash or bank money order, is required at pick up time.
All companion kittens/cats come with a written contract and require that you have the kitten/cat spayed/neutered. Three calendar days are given for the buyer to have the health of the cat/kitten confirmed by their vet. Sample of contract can be found here. No monetary refunds after the first three calandar days.
To reserve kittens/cats or if you have questions or comments, please contact me at: firstname.lastname@example.org .
NOTE TO THOSE INQUIRING:
It has become extremely difficult for me to answer every email due to time constraints. If I do not reply, please do not be offended. Kittens/cats that become available will be posted below. To automatically be notified by ChangeDetection when this page changes, please submit your email below. Thank you so much!
Kittens must be, at minimum, 12 weeks old before they can go to their new homes. Detailed information on
why, can be found here: http://www.breedlist.com/faq/young.html
